you remember that you were on your way to the... grocery store, you think. you'd taken the map with you, because at the time it was not all jumbled up. so you went to the grocery store, and you got your groceries, and then, uhh.

...it's a little foggy after that. you remember bumping into someone and dropping your map into a puddle... wait, yeah. that's when the ink got all jumbled up. except, they apologized and drew a new map for you... it led you to a garden, and the garden led you to that door.

well, okay. that's pretty strange, but...

that's pretty much what happened. i'm still not sure that's exactly right.
