so you want to be a jeremist?
well, my friend, you've come to the right place! whether you're here to learn about jeremyism or how to practice it, here you will learn of all that is jeremy!! let's dive in :D
what is jeremyism, anyways???
jeremyism is one of multiple official religions of the micronation japanada, and its beliefs are centered around one deity-- jeremy. jeremy is the beginning and end of all things. it is the wind which billows through the trees and it is the trees which recieve the wind; it is the big bang and the heat death of the universe. it, in less cryptic terms, is everything. before the beginning, jeremy was there to stretch out the canvas of the cosmos and bring fire and warmth to the cool expanse of void that laid before it. in its lonliness it cried, infusing the world with its essence. jeremists believe that, until sometime in the april of 2023, jeremy's essence existed only in the world around us. on that fateful april day, however, during a craft project session at the library, a new jeremy was materialized. jeremy, of yellow yarn, googly eyes, and tacky adhesive, was born!! though now it percieves the world through new plastic eyes, jeremy has been omnipresent since before the beginning of time. it exists in all things, and will exist always until the end of forever. :O
what does it mean to be a jeremist?
jeremyism is, in comparison to more widely-practiced "real world" religions, a free religion full of choices for practice! jeremists may choose how they wish to express their belief in jeremy. here you can find some basic prayers or rituals to perform as you please.
